Photocall for the Waterloo Band and Bugles of the Rifles at St Columb Major Church. The band were joined by talented young Cornish Musicians 17 year Gregory Graves from Callington andd 12 year Maia Roberts from Helston by invitation from the Royal Airforces Association Branch Treasuer at RAF St Mawgan Chris Cox, himself a former bandsman. It was a idea fostered from the beginning to get the next generation invloved with the opportunities that exist in the military for muscians and what better way than take part with a top class Military Band givening a concert to support not only the Royal Airforces Association but the Royal British Legion and the St Columb Major Church. Organisers Steve Richards and Chris Cox from RAFA RAF St Mawgan Branch, RBL in St Columb’s Paul Hedge and the church’s Andy Nash were delighted with the turnout and even managed to squeeze Andy’s wife Tamsin Nash into the flute section for a treat !
